Far from a comprehenisive list, but some collegiate athletes from the Garden State are performing well at the next level...

From the weekend of February 5-7

-Princeton's Brian Leung (West Windsor-Plainsboro SOUTH) 8:14.89 for 3000m in season opener for him
-Same race at Yale...St. Joe's Kevin McDonnell (Camden Catholic) 8:16.74, Yale's Jeff Perella (Westfield) 8:18.68, Georgetown's James Grimes (Chatham) 8:19.67 and Providence's Steve Hankinson (Summit) 8:21.49
-LSU's Sadiki White 1:50.93 for 800m
-Michigan's Jill Smith leads off in 3:26, Southern Regional HS teammate Danielle Tauron anchors in 4:39
-Princeton's Kyle Soloff continues the good running and winning, 4:08.29 mile at Penn State

Great stuff...can't wait to see if Soloff tees it up in a 3k.  Hopeful that Leung stays healthy and gets a good full track season in.  Dammit, I sound like a Princeton shill all of a sudden!

Kinnelon's Mike Soroko ran 8:11.18 for 3000m at the Terrier Invite in Boston.  Lets just start with that, great result for him.

-9:24.19 for Princeton's Ashley Higginson (Colts Neck)
-9:27.05 for Villanova's Amanda Marino (Jackson)
-9:34 for Syracuse's Lauren Penney (Roxbury)
-8:15.92 3000m from LaSalle's Korey Edwards (Parsipanny Hills)
-8:17 and 4:14.28 mile for Villanova's Bobby Papazian (Gill St. Bernard's)
